Our Team

Eli Moyer, MA

Co-Founder & Director

Eli brings his artistic spirit, cross-cultural experience, and academic grounding to the task of connecting people across cultures. For a collective decade Eli has lived cross-culturally in five different countries on three continents. In every place, he has seen the joy and pride people feel in the unique expressions of their own nationality, language, history, culture, and arts. He desires to see these cultures shine with beauty and God-given worth inherent in each of them and believes exchange through the arts a powerful way to do this.

Eli holds Masters degrees in World Arts (Dallas International University) and in Intercultural Studies (Biola University), and a Bachelor of Arts in Music (University of Pennsylvania). He runs Apricot Media & Consulting, created to champion unsung cultures through ethnographic media. And from 2017-2022 he co-hosted and produced CaucasTalk, a podcast devoted to culture, history, and tourism in the North Caucasus mountains.

Now with his wife Hollie and six children, Eli lives in Tbilisi, Georgia where he enjoys writing on his typewriter, rock climbing, strong black tea, and exploring the beautiful country of Georgia and its peoples with his family.

Hollie Moyer

Co-Founder

Hollie’s passion for people links strongly to her work as a direct-entry midwife. From small-town roots she branched out into international living in her college years. She holds degrees in Intercultural Studies and Midwifery, and has served women in homebirth, birth education, and maternal health in five different countries.

Her own arms are very full with six children whom she ably homeschools as her family’s adventures take them around the world. She is a birth educator, a musician, and songwriter with a love for history, reading, herbs, walking in nature, and fermenting all manner of things. She and Eli have been married for 16 years.
